More About This Dynamic Team

Mrs. Sabosky grew up in El Segundo.  She attended Center Street Elementary School and El Segundo Junior and High Schools.  She graduated from El Camino College with an AA degree and then, a double BA in Home Economics and Psychology from California State University, San Diego.  She got her California Teaching Credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills and received her Masters in Education degree 2005.  She started teaching fourth grade at Center Street School in 1993.  The following year she moved to second grade.  She is team teaching with one of her best friends, Mrs. Nodar.  She is married to Rick Sabosky, a teacher at El Segundo High School.  Two of her sons, Matt and Chris, are in law enforcement in the South Bay area.  Nick, her youngest son, is attending Arizona State University and is majoring in Justice Studies.  Stephanie, her daughter-in-law, is a second grade teacher in Redondo Beach and last but not least, Jack, her grandson, is the love of her life.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Formerly Miss Gallio, Mrs. Nodar grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes and attended Palos Verdes Schools.  After graduating from Miraleste High School, she attended University of California, Riverside as a Psychology Major.  Later she acquired her California Clear Teaching Credential from California State University, Los Angeles while substitute teaching.  Her first teaching job was for Los Angeles Unified School District at Hawaiian Avenue School in Wilmington.  She taught a 2/3 fully bilingual  Spanish combination class for one year and Kindergarten for three years.  She, then, got her CLAD Credential and specializes in teaching English Language Learners.  In 1998 she transfered to second grade at Center Street School in El Segundo USD and moved to Richmond Street School when it opened.  In 2004 she married Dan Nodar who is a financial consultant and moved to Pacific Palisades.  She doesn't have any kids yet, but considers her pug, Bella, her baby.  In 2005 she started team teaching with Mrs. Sabosky, one of her dearest friends.  In her free time she enjoys making invitations and party favors for her side business, RSVP Invitations.
